1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ripehosts.com or any services provided by Ripe Hosts Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Ripe Hosts Ltd provides the following services under the Ripe Hosts and Haghost brands:

  • Internet Radio & Streaming Hosting (powered by MediaCP)
  • Reseller Hosting (powered by InterWorx)
  • Domain Name Registration, Renewal and Management
  • Web Hosting and related infrastructure
  • Additional services as may be offered from time to time

3. Streaming Hosting (MediaCP) – Fair Usage Policy

Ripe Hosts Ltd currently offers a single streaming plan marketed with unlimited listener capacity. However, all streaming services are subject to a Fair Usage Policy.

Important: This policy applies to stations that grow to become part of the top 10% of all internet radio stations that exist worldwide (typically stations with thousands of concurrent listeners on a global scale). Accounts reaching this level of usage may be contacted by Ripe Hosts Ltd to discuss and arrange appropriate custom pricing based on their actual resource consumption. We reserve the right to apply additional charges or require a custom agreement for exceptionally large broadcasting operations.

4. Reseller Hosting (InterWorx)

Important – Reseller Responsibilities: If you purchase Reseller Hosting, you are acting as a reseller and not as an end-user. You are fully responsible for all activity conducted by your end-clients.

By purchasing Reseller Hosting, you agree to the following:

  • You are solely responsible for managing your reseller account, including billing, support, and client management.
  • You must ensure that all your end-clients comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws.
  • You are fully liable for any abuse, illegal content, spam, or policy violations committed by your end-clients.
  • Ripe Hosts Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate any reseller account (and all associated client accounts) immediately if any end-client violates our Acceptable Use Policy or engages in illegal activity.
  • You are responsible for all backups of your clients’ data. Ripe Hosts Ltd does not guarantee backups and accepts no liability for data loss.
  • You are responsible for collecting payment from your end-clients. Non-payment by your clients does not relieve you of your obligation to pay Ripe Hosts Ltd.
  • We may contact your end-clients directly in cases of abuse, legal complaints, or service issues if we are unable to reach you.
  • Reseller accounts are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not provide dedicated support for your end-clients.

5. Domain Registration

  • You agree to the terms and conditions of the relevant domain registry (ICANN, Nominet, etc.).
  • We act only as a registrar or reseller. You are the legal registrant and owner of the domain.
  • Domains are non-refundable once registered or renewed.
  • You are solely responsible for keeping your WHOIS and contact information accurate and up to date.

6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

You agree not to use our services for any illegal purpose or to transmit any content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains or promotes illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene material
  • Is used for broadcasting without the required music licences (e.g. PRS, PPL, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, or equivalent in your jurisdiction)

You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary licences and permissions for any content you broadcast or host. This responsibility extends to all end-clients if you are a reseller.

7. Licensing & Legal Compliance

You are fully responsible for ensuring that any audio, music, or other content you broadcast complies with all applicable copyright and licensing laws in your country and the countries where your listeners are located. Ripe Hosts Ltd accepts no liability for any legal action resulting from unlicensed broadcasting or illegal content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ripe Hosts Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the use of our services — including services provided to your end-clients if you are a reseller.

9. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account (and all associated end-client accounts if you are a reseller) at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you or your clients have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in any activity that harms our network, other customers, or is illegal.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
